OPERATION
Several precut stacks of sleeves are loaded onto the machine's infeed conveyor. The leading stack enters the machine, where the top ply is picked up. The ply is deposited evenly on the main conveyor. During this operation, folded sleeves are opened. For stacks cut face to face, alternate plies are turned over and all sleeves are deposited face up. A face-up detection system ensures that all sleeves have the proper orientation. As sleeves are transferred to the hemmer or hemmer/seamer conveyor, an advanced aligning system orients the edges of the sleeves to the folder.
